Our Mission

SEX, DRUGS, VIOLENCE
We are an ethical and progressive company. Our Mission is to work towards the legalization and safe regulation of  sex work, drugs, and combat sports. We are looking to partner with advocacy groups and charities to help improve conditions for those involved in sex work and provide resourses for human trafficking victims. We seek to legalize and regulate drugs with a goal of reducing the incidence of organized crime and to mitigate over doses and deaths due to adulterated substances. We would also like to improve conditions and ensure fair pay to those involved in combat sports. We welcome suggestions for any outstanding advocacy or charity groups involved in any of the aforementioned causes. We will be donating a portion of our profits to such organizations to help continue their crucial work.

RECYCLING/SUSTAINABILITY

As an ethical company we want to make trash not garbage! Our cards and packaging are fully recyclable and we are commited to being carbon footprint conscious by keeping our sources local. Our cards are printed in Happy Valley, OR.
F.A.Q

Q: Is your art AI generated?
A: Good eye! Yes we do use AI generated art for our cards. At first we used it as placeholder art but then something kind of cool happened. The AI generated a lot of things that weren't specified in the prompt. For example Xerlexes II's glowing purple leg was totally random, but then it became a part of the story. The lore is all about the AI wars and the corporate AI models that generated the android war machines so AI generated art fits the theme of the world. Plus I just love the joke that in a technologically advanced future the AI still can't do hands.
Q: Did you use AI do design the game?
A: No. The only things we use AI for is the card art and clip art for social media. All the card designs and mechanics were made by Mike the C.E.O on his phone while he was pooping.
Q: Is this just another magic rip-off?
A: Not really, Whore Wars borrows the most fun mechanics from all the best games and smashes them together into an even more fun (and sexier) game!
Q; Why does your website look so jank?
A: Damnit Jim I'm a developer not a designer!
Q: Why are your cards so thick?
A: Our cards are printed on regular old cardstock without the plastic core that most trading cards have. We decided to use a thicker cardstock for durability and "hand feel". The cards still fit into a standard sleeve albeit a bit tight.
Q: Where are the foils?
A: We will not do foil cards until we can find a way to make them easily recyclable. We want this game to be for the players more than the collectors. We will have "full art" and "regular art" versions of each card.
Q: Do you have a reserve list or printing limits for each set?
A: Hell no! We will re-print sets into oblivion! I want to reiterate that this game is for the players. We plan on doing small runs to not only minimize our risk, but also so we can print to match demand. This does mean that there will be inevitable delays between the demand and the supply, but as long as there are players who want cards we will keep printing the cards that they want!
Q; How many sets will you be releasing each year?
A: We plan on doing two sets per year, hopefully spaced 6 months apart.
